Built around your council
Your brand. Your features. Change them any time.
No two councils run the same way, so Stindler is set up for yours, and stays easy to change after every election.
Your branding everywhere
Your logo, colours, fonts and wording on the dashboard, in every email and in the calendar feed. Rename "Tasks" to "Actions" or "Rooms" to "Spaces". Admins can change the branding themselves, with a live preview and a colour contrast check.
Add features as you grow
Switch on a built-in feature, add an optional add-on, or build your own with the feature builder: pick the fields, who can edit, whether it shows in the calendar and who gets notified.
Remove features safely
Turn a feature off and its data is kept. Delete one and you export its records first, then it stays restorable for 30 days. Every change is logged with who made it and when.

Questions
Before you ask.
Can we add or remove features later?
Yes. Your admins can switch features on or off in Settings at any time, and the data is kept. We can add optional add-ons or build custom features whenever you need them.
Will it really look like our council?
Yes. Your logo, colours, fonts and wording appear on the dashboard, in every email and on the calendar feed. Admins can update the branding themselves without waiting for us.
Who owns our data?
You do. Each council gets its own private database, and members only see what their role allows. You can export everything as CSV or JSON at any time, and we hand it over if you leave.
Who can see and change what?
Admins see and manage everything. Managers run their own team's people and tasks. Members see the dashboard, edit their own tasks and submit requests, but cannot approve them.
Will members actually get the emails?
Emails are sent from your own address and every one is logged as sent or failed, so admins can see deliveries and resend any that failed. Members choose which emails they want in their settings.
What happens when the board changes each year?
Roles and access move to the new board, and last year's records are archived so nothing is lost. The hand-over add-on does this for you.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The dashboard works in any browser on phone or laptop, and the calendar link works with Google, Apple and Outlook Calendar.

How do I pay an invoice?
Open Invoices, download the PDF, and pay by bank transfer to the IBAN shown. Always use the invoice's reference number so we can match your payment. It shows as paid here within a few working days.
How do I add or remove a feature?
Your council admins can switch built-in features on or off in your dashboard under Settings → Features. For add-ons or a custom feature, send a request under Plan & add-ons and we'll reply with a price and timing.
How do I change our logo, colours or wording?
In your dashboard, go to Settings → Branding. Changes apply to the dashboard, emails and calendar at once. You can also upload a new brand kit under Files and we'll do it for you.
How do I add a new board member?
In your dashboard, open Team and add the person with their email. They get access as soon as they log in with that email.
Our board changes. What happens to our data?
Nothing is lost. Roles move to the new board and last year's records stay archived. Ask us about the hand-over add-on if you want us to do it.
Who can log in to this client area?
The people we created a login for. Need another one, or someone left? Open a support request and we'll add or remove them the same day.
How do I get a copy of all our data?
Admins can export every table as CSV in the dashboard. For a full export, open a support request.
Didn't find it? Open a request under Support.

Who we are
Stindler is run by a private individual in Estonia, not by a company. This information is published as required by the Estonian Information Society Services Act.
Service provider
[Your full name], trading as Stindler
Address

Email

Not registered for VAT. Invoices are issued without VAT.
Payments
Bank transfer to the account shown on each invoice
Terms of service
These terms apply between [Your full name], trading as Stindler ("we"), and the organisation that orders the service (the "council"). Stindler is a business service. The person who signs must be authorised to act for the council, for example its student union, university or non-profit association.
The service
Each council gets its own dashboard with its own code repository, database and hosting, set up by us with the council's branding and the features in its plan.
The council's domain is registered in the council's name and paid by the council. We connect it and help with DNS. If the domain lapses, the dashboard and its emails stop working until it is renewed.
Add-ons and custom features are agreed in writing, or as a request in the client area, before work starts.
Fees, invoices and payment
The setup fee is invoiced when the order is confirmed. The plan is invoiced in advance, monthly or yearly.
Invoices are sent by email and are available in the client area. Payment is by bank transfer to the IBAN on the invoice, using the reference number shown.
Invoices are due within 14 days. Prices are in euros. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
If an invoice is more than 30 days overdue after a reminder, we may pause the dashboard until it is paid. Data is never deleted because of late payment.
We give at least 60 days' notice of any price change, which applies from the next billing period.
If an issued invoice is wrong, we correct it with a credit note and a new invoice.
Availability and support
We aim for 99.5% monthly availability, excluding planned maintenance announced in advance.
Support requests are made in the client area and answered on working days.
The council's responsibilities
Keep logins secure and give access only to current members.
Only add content and personal data it is allowed to use, and tell its members how their data is used.
Keep its domain renewed and its billing contact up to date.
Data ownership, term and cancellation
The council owns all content and member data in its dashboard and can export it as CSV or JSON at any time.
Monthly plans can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Yearly plans run to the end of the paid year and are not refunded part-way.
After the contract ends, the council has 30 days to export its data. We then delete its database and repository, and backups within a further 30 days.
Liability, law and disputes
Each party's total liability is limited to the fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, except where the law does not allow a limit. Neither party is liable for indirect losses. These terms are governed by Estonian law, and disputes go to Harju County Court unless the parties agree otherwise.
Privacy policy
When you book a demo or contact us
What we collect: your name, email, council, number of members, the plan you're interested in, your message and the demo time you pick.
Why: to arrange and hold the demo and reply to you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)). Both Stindler admins can see it, and it appears in their calendars.
How long: 12 months after our last contact if no contract follows, then deleted.
Client accounts and billing
What we collect: the name and email of each client login, the council's billing contact, invoices, payments, support requests and plan requests.
Why: to provide the service, send invoices and answer support (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
How long: invoices and payment records are kept for 7 years, as required by the Estonian Accounting Act. Logins are deleted when the contract ends.
Member data inside a council's dashboard
The council decides what member data its dashboard holds and why. The council is the controller and Stindler is its processor under the data processing agreement below. Members should contact their council first; we help the council answer.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your data, and object to processing. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon) or the authority in your country.
Data processing agreement
Every council signs a data processing agreement with us before go-live, as required by GDPR Article 28. In it we commit to:
Process member data only on the council's documented instructions, in a database used only by that council.
Keep it confidential and limit access to people who need it.
Use only the sub-processors listed below, with 30 days' notice before adding or changing one.
Help the council answer data subject requests and carry out impact assessments where needed.
Report a personal data breach to the council within 48 hours of becoming aware of it.
Return or delete all data when the contract ends, and allow reasonable audits.

Access rules run inside the database, so people only see what their role allows.
Traffic is encrypted, data is encrypted at rest and backed up daily.
Keys and passwords are kept in secret stores, never in code. Admin actions are logged.
